cinnamon and things

as much as I am in a blogging slump (more like a blogging-don't-care), I realize that I have to post something so you don't continue to feel sorry for my chalkboard state. Thanks to Anne, I have a fabulous, working - but not cool coffee coloured - chalkboard!
We even hung it on the wall the same night we scooped it from in front of her garage.
don't you just love friends?

and is it weird that my youngest son believes that sniffing cinnamon right before "difficult" homeschool tasks increases brain cells and productivity?
and that I actually let him?

the jury is still out ...

I think sniffing cinnamon is very sensible. I think that might be what I need to wake up this morning.

I think it's a great idea! I've sometimes wondered why no on has worn it as perfume. Shh, don't say anything because I do like to dab a little behind my ears once in awhile.

Congrats on the new chalkboard. Definitely less stinky than our whiteboard!

Blessings!

okay, perhaps i should add that one to my arsenal of Things To Say To The Boy When He Can't Focus:
"go run up & down the stairs! eat some peanut butter! play the piano! sniff some cinnamon!"

Now I know why I enjoy cinnamon raisin toast in the morning with my coffee to get me going. :-) Love Mummo
